New Marijuana Legalization Ad Features A Retired Cop
This week two anti-marijuana prohibition organizations in Ohio, ResponsibleOhio and Ohioans Against Marijuana Monopolies, launched ad campaigns to get voters in their state to vote for “Issue 3”. Issue 3 is a pro-legalization proposal that would create 10 commercial pot farms throughout Ohio and would allow residents to grow up to four plants for personal use. Currently both medical and recreational marijuana use is illegal in the state.
One of the ads features retired police captain Howard Rahtz who say’s “Ohio wastes over $100 million a year on destructive marijuana laws that don’t work.” and urges residents of Ohio to “Vote yes on 3”. So far, ResponsibleOhio has spent $240,000 on ads broadcast throughout the state according to the Federal Communications Commission.
