What The Fuck Are Terpenes!?

WTF Are Terpenes?

Great question!

Terpenes are to weed, what matcha is to tea. The trendy craze that everyone it talking about all of a sudden. In the cannabis industry, next to CBD, terpenes are all the rage these days!

They’re  a natural chemical compound found in plants, flowers and trees. They’re basically a plant’s essential oil that gives it its aroma. In the case of herbs like rosemary, basil, and marijuana, terpenes are what give them their distinct smell and flavor.

Concentrated cannabis terpene drops have risen in popularity. Although some claim that terpenes enhance the potency of their weed, studies are still being conducted to determine the accuracy of that theory.

How Do You Use Them?

For now, they’re better used as a sort of “salad dressing” for your weed. Drizzle it over a packed bowl to enhance your experience. I love the way the strain Blue Cheese smells and tastes, but I haven’t been able to get my hands on it. I purchased a 2ml bottle of Blue Cheese and put a couple drops on a bowl of Sour Diesel. I was able to have everything I love about the BC strain, without the heavy Indica effects.

But whatever you do, do not put it directly in your mouth. It’s not a tincture! It tastes terrible and burns like hell. I know from experience.
